Women & Allies in Cryptography - Affiliated event at Eurocrypt 2026>

Our Event

The goal of the Women & Allies in Cryptography community is to promote diversity, integrate more women into the community, provide a safe and inclusive space for discussion and growth, offer mentorship and role models, as well as actively participating in the organization of our research community. 

Our event, affiliated to the conference Eurocrypt 2026, focuses on discussions around diversity and also features a dedicated session for scientific presentations. We welcome attendees of all genders. 

The event will be hybrid (in person and online). The online link will be shared closer to the date. To receive updates about this, please register your interest.

Lightning Talk Submission

You can submit a lightning talk (5 minutes) here

Please submit your abstracts until March 10 (for notification on March 27) or March 31 (for notification on April 10). We prioritize submissions from people of underrepresented groups.  

 

Program Overview

Our (tentative) program includes 

  • Educational talks on diversity topics,
  • Lightning talks on scientific and educational topics, and
  • Working groups and discussions on topics to be voted on during the event.

  • Odome Angone is our second confirmed speaker! Her talk is titled "The epistemology of ignorance: between cultural hegemony and a hidden curriculum".
